What does a true partnership mean between VCs and Founders

Capital alone is not the solution to a company’s challenges or its path to success. This is especially important to bear in mind for early-stage startups, where, in the absence of timely and publicly available business metrics, a ‘fundraise’ becomes a proxy for success. The large size and extensive networks held by VC investors present useful networking opportunities to businesses, allowing them to work with a wide range of specialists who can assist with every element of the business process, from marketing to scaling and everything else.? Building a solid network early can add long-term value. Even when you already have a connection with a partner, supplier, etc., that you are looking to work with, getting introduced to senior leadership can help fast-track things.?
  5. Catalysts for innovation: VC investors work across various industries and can act as catalysts for innovation. Their ability to bring concepts from unrelated sectors to the table and the founders' ability to adapt them to the business' unique context can often result in radical innovation.?
  6. Participation in key events: VC investors' expertise and experience can be leveraged by inviting them to internal or external events relevant to the startup. These could be product launches, demos, pitches, customer meetings, industry conferences, or networking sessions. Inviting them to these events can showcase the company’s work, and investors can be introduced to customers, partners, or potential investors and continue to be your?evangelists.
