WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE YOU JOYFUL? Do certain people make you joyful or happy? (+Dr. Jonathan Z+)(c)

Is Joy Essential to Our Spiritual Psychological Family & Financial (SPFH) Health & Success? If so, who determines our happiness?

Choose one of the following "best scenarios" for "WHAT or WHO makes you happy?"

  1. I'm happy when I get my way, or when I get to choose where to go or what to do?

2. I'm not happy most of the time because life can be challengine, difficult or hard?

3. I'm happy most of the time because no one affects my happiness more than me?

4. I'll be happy when I retire, or when I'm very financially independent (or wealthy).

5. Happiness is not something that is meant for us to enjoy everyday all the time.

6. More money or more assets do not make me happy. Good relationships do.

7. I'm happiest when I am with my true love partner(s) who challenge(s) me.

How we choose WHAT or WHO makes us happy, or joyful, is the most important factor in our happiness. President Abe Lincoln, who experienced numerous defeats and major life setbacks (in business and his bid for Congress and as Vice President, among others) said: "Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be." The SCENARIO's listed above represent "the seven most common attitudes" for who or what determines our joy and happiness in life and at work.

In selecting the preferred scenario that best represents your "Life Attitude on Being Joyful or Happy," remember this mantra, or key concept: "We are strong or we are weak depending on the values we defend and the thoughts we speak." In the final analysis, it is not others, or things, or even achievements that help to determine our true joy or happiness. Instead, it IS me and you. Individually, the values we defend, the thoughts we speak, the attitudes we believe and the actions we take, determine our joy in life. As the prophet Nehemiah declared in chapter 8, verse 10 (Old Testament): "As we eat of the fat (to nourish our bodies with organic meats with amino acids, omega 3, etc.) and drink of the sweet (to relax, de-stress & refresh our souls with red wine and resveratrol) and send portions (fresh food, vegetables & resources to maintain a thankful, generous heart) to them (orphans, widows & neighbors) who've prepared nothing, we prosper fully and grow up in Him in ALL things (mind, body & spirit) FOR THE JOY OF THE LORD IS OUR STRENGTH..." IN CONCLUSION, ASK YOURSELF THIS CORE QUESTION.

Who "makes" ME joyful? That's no one's job but MINE.

I make myself joyful cause it's my Job. (c)
