What Does Success Really Mean to You?

What Does Success Really Mean to You?

Let me ask you something—and really think about this: What does success actually look like for you?

Is it another promotion? A bigger paycheck? Or is it something deeper—something that makes you feel alive, fuels your purpose, and gets you excited to start your day?

Here’s the truth:

You get to define success. Not your boss. Not your industry. Not society.

For years, I chased someone else’s version of success: More work. More accomplishments. More, more, more. And you know what? It never felt like enough.

I wasn’t chasing my own success—I was chasing someone else’s idea of it.

And I see this all the time. Smart, capable leaders like you—running on autopilot, doing more to prove you’ve “made it.” But where does that leave you? Exhausted. Stuck. Wondering if any of it really matters.

Here’s something I’ve learned:

Success isn’t about doing more—it’s about alignment.

  • Alignment with what energizes you.
  • Alignment with what makes your life feel expansive, not restrictive.
  • Alignment with what makes you proud to be living it.

When you stop chasing someone else’s definition of success and start defining your own, everything changes:

  • Your energy shifts—you stop running on empty.
  • Your focus sharpens—you stop saying yes to things that drain you.
  • Your life becomes something worth celebrating—not for others, but for you.

So, let me ask you again:

What does success look like for you in 2025?

Not the “safe” version. Not the “check-the-box” version. The bold version.

Because here’s the truth: You didn’t get here by playing small—and you’re not meant to stay there.

It’s time to get clear. It’s time to play bigger.

I’m hosting a free webinar where I’ll guide you through defining YOUR version of success for 2025 and beyond.

This resonates so much! For the longest time, I equated success with titles and paychecks too, only to realize that chasing someone else’s version left me drained and unfulfilled. Anna Zoladkiewicz

Success is different for different people. It's even different for the same person in different areas of their lives. It evolves with age, time, and life experience. I wish I was reading content like your 10 years ago maybe I would have made some different choices.
