What Does the Real Estate Inspection Industry Need?

So many things are changing in the world with technology. Everything these days has some sort of AI component to it. I just recently saw an ad on Instagram for AI-powered dumbbells! I'm not kidding, AI-powered dumbbells. Come on! ?? So, with all of the new technology, what does the real estate inspection industry need?

I've been in the real estate inspection business for a long time. The first company I started was a venture-backed, nationwide environmental inspection company. We were pretty high-tech for the time, with a custom-built Internet-based system that managed our entire company, from sales management to customer orders to project management to accounting. Everything was as automated as possible.

After merging that company with another nationwide firm, I started to see companies like Uber come along. I thought, "I can click a button on my phone and a car shows up in 5 minutes to take me to the airport, but it takes 4 days to get bids back for environmental inspections or appraisals." The real estate inspection industry needed "an app for that!"

3. a giant database with lots of real estate vendors that you can search to find more vendors when you need them.
