What Does Professional Human Factors Research Tell Us about President Biden's Health? (Non-Political View)

A large body of professional human factors research methods provide objective insights into an individual's medical conditions. Such research has been used extensively in formal medical evaluations to assess and validate cognitive decline.
For example, the science of human gait analysis is now valuable for predicting the early onset of dementia. A great deal has been said about President Biden's cognitive state, leading to a widespread call for his objective testing for cognitive decline.
However, there is a reliable predictor present in every step he takes. One of the most highly correlated human behaviors mapped to the early onset of dementia is shuffling gait.
I explored such methods in graduate school biomechanics classes and found their predictive power startling. Since then, a large body of peer-reviewed research correlating human gait shuffling with cognitive decline has surfaced.
If one were to apply this well-understood human factors research analysis to the current president, one would expect cognitive testing to reveal diminished states. (NOTE: this is not a political statement in any form) Here is a recent JAMA publication on the topic.
