What does it mean to "try easier?"

For much of our lives we are told that our value is tied to our productivity: What we make, how much money we earn, and the products of our labor.?
And many of us want to be productive.? It feels good, especially when it’s something we’re good at like a career we’ve worked at for years.? Many of us are providers for our family, or enjoy the lifestyle our work allows.
But the way we work is also important.??
It doesn’t always have to be more effort, longer hours, or trying harder.? We can approach the work of our lives, the changes we want to make, or the balance we want to create with lightness, grace, and self-compassion.
This is what it means to “try easier.”? We still try, care, and work hard.? We just do it in alignment with our goals and values, keeping the bigger picture of our lives in mind.
We do and try in a way that is sustainable.??
We do and try in a way that recognizes our human capacity and limitations.??
We do and try in a way that balances “more” with “enough”
What would it look like for you to “try easier” today?
