Finally.
It took a while.
But I finally figured it out.
I realized that I have this insatiable need to create—to take a blank canvas and turn it into something extraordinary. It's like a fire burning inside me, always pushing me to do more, to make things happen.
I am a serial entrepreneur.
Many people call themselves a serial entrepreneur. Most often I hear about people that go from one failed business to another. I think that the true definition of a serial entrepreneur is someone who goes from one successful business to another.
Take our home, for example. Nestled in the sunny paradise of southwest Florida near Ft. Myers Beach, it was lovely. But I just couldn't shake the urge to do something more with it. So, we remodeled. And let me tell you, the transformation was nothing short of magical. Our once humble abode became a stunning sanctuary, filled with warmth and character. We loved it so much that we put it on the market, but in the meantime, we're renting it out. Eager renters signed leases for it in no time.
But that's just one aspect of my creative endeavors. You see, I'm also a dog lover through and through, with two adorable furry friends—Hazel and Lucy. And that's where my latest venture comes into play. I've started a new business, matching clothes for dogs and their owners.
Call me crazy, but I think it's a fantastic idea! Our focus right now is on getting everything up and running, which involves developing a powerful marketing strategy and finding the right materials and designs. And let me tell you, I couldn't be more excited about it.

Now, you might wonder, how does all this tie into my business consulting firm? Well, it's simple really. At our firm, we're all about helping clients tap into their own creative potential. We work with them to uncover new ways of generating revenue, to reimagine their businesses from the ground up. We help them see the true value of what they have, so they can maximize it for the future.
It's all about taking that spark of creativity and turning it into something truly remarkable. And hey, if I can do it with my home and my dogs, why not with my clients too?

8 个月Dr. Carrie LaDue really great article. I do however feel that your definition of a serial entrepreneur could be redefined in my personal opinion. See sometimes part of being a serial entrepreneur is taking a gamble and sometimes those fail you took one on your idea it could have gone either way, but I thank God it went well. It only takes one right idea in front of the right audience to be successful. Failed ideas and businesses in a serial entrepreneurs world should be celebrated as a learning experience. #Failure is nothing but a point in time and not the definition of a person. If not celebrated with that mindset moving to another idea may be mentally #challenging. I have failed a few times but what I learned from those failures have formed winning multi-million dollar exits. So failures in a serial entrepreneurs world has a place on the trophy shelf in my mind, be proud of your failures as long as you learn from them. They make you that much smarter and capable. Persistence is the key to success which means failure is inevitable to be a true serial entrepreneur. Again thanks for the great article just wanted to chime in on really the first paragraph. Congrats on all the success. ??
