What does Health, and the wellness that comes along mean to us?
We started working in Himachal Pradesh as a tribute to all those farmers, households, and women who did not get a chance to voice out or reach their traditional crops to the regular community of individuals as superfoods. For many years since the advent of the green revolution, our traditional crops even in the remotest part of the countries have slowly been taken away from mainstream human consumption. A few reasons for this are no right market access, huge corporations replacing traditional seeds with genetically modified seeds, and the slow introduction of modernization concepts with the idea of eradicating robust health and well-being.
While it's a complex understanding and human thought process. Few want easy death, few early, and few want to live long and healthy. In the world, 5 places are marked as "The Five Blue Zones". These are areas where people live longer and healthier lives and have high rates of centenarians:
Why could this possibly be? If you are one of those who would like to eat clean, live healthy, believe in good origin food, and believe that prevention is better than cure, then here are a few things that researchers have permuted for a possible good long life.
Interestingly, research conducted by the National Institute of Health found that genetics only plays a 20–30% role in longevity.
A book that has long inspired us to understand life better is "IKIGAI" - The Japanese Secret to Long and Happy Life. Its based on a Japanese saying "Only wanting to live an active life will make you want to live 100 years".
