What Does Fashion Mean To Me?

I asked a few people over the last few days. “What Does Fashion Mean To You?” Now, it's time for me to reflect. What does fashion mean to me?

First, I believe that fashion is a way to show yourself to the world as the person you are, in addition to exposing your feelings. A practical example of this is when we wake up. Depending on our mood, we put on a particular outfit that reflects how we want to portray ourselves to the world that day.

When I am tired, I usually put on more comfortable clothes. If I'm more into the vibe of wanting to rule the world, I put on a red dress to make a huge impact. When I want to take everything seriously and highlight my entrepreneur life even more, I put on a blazer, a white tee, small heels and jeans.

Therefore, it is expected that when we wake up, we choose an outfit that interprets our mood and how we will position ourselves in front of the world that day.?

I believe fashion is so unique and personal that many things that have happened in our lives in the past end up reflecting who we are today in the world of fashion. To explain better, I'll show you one of my first fashion memories.?

I was born and raised in Brazil and Xuxa - one of the biggest TV personalities in South America - was one of my idols. I remember that she used to wear high boots and little dresses, and I always thought how fun, sexy and playful she was.??

I always loved the way she interpreted herself. And looking around, I tend to be that person a bit. I can be serious, but I also like to be fun and playful. This was my first “AHA” moment and stays with me and it comes to how I dress nowadays.

I believe that what I wear reflects who I am. I wear a lot of colors and it represents my playful side. I also like to be feminine because I think women put out a soft touch to our universe while ruling it.????

Still speaking of uniqueness, if you are not yourself in daily life, you cannot be yourself running a business or anything else in an entrepreneurial journey. It's essential to keep in mind that you can never pretend to be something you're not because you will start to reject yourself. That's worrying and never comes outright.?

Overall, fashion can be many things. Uniqueness, personality, mood, self-expression… But many things in fashion take the real meaning of it. People need to stop judging and accept everyone the way they are. And as well their style and ways to wear clothes.

Fashion has an individual meaning for each person.

We cannot put ourselves in a judging position and say that such a person is fashionable, and that is because the clothes express a person's feelings, attitudes and personality. So there is no reason to judge someone.
