What does an Entrepreneur | CEO do? Week 5

It's the end of January, and it has been a hectic week and month. Balancing travel for client meetings and industry events and spending time with Difference Makers is always a work in progress. Additionally, it's the month of final annual planning work and preparation for sharing the direction of 2025 with our team.

This week included a trip to Florida, annual planning, new product testing and Patricia Maben attended an industry event in DC.

It's January 2025 - week 5. So what are we doing?

• We attended a sales trip to Florida. It was a follow-up meeting with the executive team after a lengthy meeting at an industry event earlier in the month.
• Held sales and account management intro training on major capabilities being added to our solutions this quarter.
• One-on-one meetings with 3E executive team members.
• 3E 2025 Annual Kickoff material preparation. Excellent progress on this. Patricia and I are ready for Day 1 of the Kickoff, and we are now helping all other speakers for the week prep for their time.

--3E Annual Kickoff includes all global Difference Makers spending time together daily for a week. Usually, a couple of hours each day. We start Monday with the annual plan overview, and Patricia Maben and I will lead that session. From there, each day, we have experts leading key elements of the plan share more details on what they are doing and why. The last day, Friday is focused on employee recognition and social time. It's a special week, but it does take a lot of planning and preparation to do well.

• Client results review sessions were held, as we do each week.
• New product development reviews.
• Special Historically Black Colleges and University (HBCU) initiative review.
