What does death of a lake means to a poor country like Ethiopia?
To a poor society whom its existence depend on the life of the lake….?
You may notice too…but Recently, I have noticed a sequence of lakes reported being on the verge of disappearing…drying….
Six years before, the dearest Lake lake Alemaya gone dry….dry dry dry…
Then, Abyiata, then Shalla, & a year or so before,…KOKA!!!!….THE MOST HOPED FOR LAKE…..!! (though it is not dry ,it is not in a good shape….)
& THESE DAYS,,, TANA….!!!!
THE HOPE FOR THE GREAT REINASSANCE DAM………..!
What is going on?!
Who is going to be asked for the damage, the consequence, the crisis??????????
A lake for the wealthy is a beach
But a lake for the poor is a bread, a life……everything!
