What does Customer Centric mean to you? How does it affect what you do in your job each and every day?

I wrote this back in 2008 and I think this still is valid today! ?
To set ourselves apart from our competition, we must always take our customer's perspective of how well we are doing our job. We must always put ourselves in our customer's position and ask ourselves "How would I like to be treated if I were the customer?" ?Professionalism, integrity, superior quality of work, open and honest communication and consistency day in and day out is what our customers desire and expect. We must take an attitude on a daily basis that is always based on the mindset that the most important thing for our company is earning the trust of our customers.? We must not just simply meet our customer’s expectations. Our goal should always be to exceed our customer’s expectation to a point beyond excellence. This means wowing them to the point where they know they have been given our absolute best and then some. We need to become more than just brick and mortar to our customers. We need to become someone they know they can depend on in their time of need. We need to make them feel that it is an honor to serve them and not the other way around. By doing this we are laying the foundation for making that customer ours for life. That’s what Customer Centric means to me.
Driving outcomes by understanding client needs.
