What does #AskTheRabbi "Lessons From the Wilderness" have to do with #Photography?

Maybe you have seen the zany & hopefully meaningful #AskTheRabbi FacebookLive videos I've been doing with my son Josh - where he gets all crazy & I try to talk Torah.
The most recent one was about Lessons from the Wilderness (the book of Numbers) with AMAZING questions from the community that was watching.
Josh's friend, the talented photographer Ted Forbes, who has a YUGE (huge) YouTube following where he teaches about photography was a participant on the #AskTheRabbi.
Ted, who is not Jewish (YET - just kidding) saw parallels in his creative work and the lessons from the wilderness that I shared.
AND HE MADE A VIDEO (very professional I might add...) about creativity & put out a challenge to his photography community regarding how creativity works, and how they might collaborate with non-photographers.
CHECK IT OUT! Watch Ted's video (you might want to watch mine first for context)
Subscribe to his channel, and I'll also post the FacebookLive video on the Wilderness (which I am also writing an article about.)
THANK YOU TED (and Josh)
I love my work :)

8 年I love this! The notion that we must travel through our own personal Wilderness in order to become transformed is very powerful. I appreciate how he draws the analogy to creative work with photography as I do the same with writing, parenting, and my work in advocating for people with disabilities. Thank you for posting this, Rabbi Jill Zimmerman.
