What does art have to do with learning to code?
I always loved art at school.
I thought programming was only about maths.
Building a website is all about getting a message across to your audience. Creativity, art, thinking about your user are all some of the most important things when building a website.
You can imagine how excited I was when I heard that one of our schools was building websites with their Grade 6's on famous South African artists!
It's been inspiring to see what some schools are doing with the Code4Kids "Building My First Website" course.
When you have a teacher like Claudette Muller from Redhill school using the product, the possibilities are endless!
