We all need reprieve, rest, down time and more. I am not advocating for constantly going out of your way to show that you are good to the point of exhaustion. We have jobs, family and are only human.
However, we can ALL benefit from assessing our habits, behaviors, what we dismiss, avoid, when we are rude, who we are rude to, what we constantly do, or do not do, and CONNECT it to the big picture. It is good to be introspective, ask yourself what you pass by, disregard and if you are being honest with yourself in all areas of our lives. ALL of us. Monthly.
When I see something or a situation arises, I do what I hope to be the exact same thing I would be doing if people were present. Be consistent with my character, delivery, beliefs, attitude and more. When absolutely no one is looking or will find out; still doing the right thing.
I pick up that damn piece of garbage off the floor, put in work with my business, do fitness, read and much much more when no one is looking. No body is telling me to be a good person or strive for better. It is in my soul. The constant desire to express good.
If you struggle with this; we can chat.
My goal is to get as many people excited about, honest with and moving towards FITNESS as possible in the corporate world.
It starts with being a good person; when no one is looking.
Thank you.

8 个月Great question! Dan Rogers It's often said that true character is revealed in private moments. I believe that investing in self-improvement during these times—whether through reading, skill development, or reflection—can set the foundation for long-term success. It's also a prime opportunity to practice integrity and discipline, which ultimately shape our professional and personal lives.
