WHAT DO YOU DO WITH THOSE WHO CONSTANTLY .........?
You know how it feels ...
Specific person (in your team, at work, a nabor or a customer) approaches you, either by calling, sending a message, an email or just walking towards you.
You feel the intention. You feel this is going to become trouble ... again!
You already start to figure out how can you get out of this ASAP as soon as possible).
Why is that?
Is it because there is something wrong with you?
Many of us have a tendency to look and search inside ourselves to see wha is wrong with us since we feel this way about certain persons.
Or is it something wrong somewhere else.
Well, for the sake of your own sanity, the sake of your company, your team, your family or others you care about, the answer to 'whose fault' it is is completely irrelevant.
Why?
I explain:
Imagine you are sitting in the drivers seat in a car and feel responsible/have decided to or just wish to get this car with those in it to a certain destination.
Now while you are driving, a specific person approaches you, who by their actions, or by what their moods or by the way they treat you or others, affect you in a negative way.
What do you do?
Well, if you are feeling responsible for this hypothetical car and its passangers, if you do wish to get it there, then you have two choices:

Handle this person so this person is not allowing himself/herself to create upset or get her/him off the car so you can continue your journey.
Some people will tell you that you should not do that.
But majority of the people around you will feel a relief by your handling.
Those will complain about your action are not sitting in your seat. Are not having the same purposes or responsibilities as you have.
So never forget your integrity with yourself.
What you know is the right thing to do is more important than what others say to you.
Afterall the one who is going to be with you at the end of the day. The one who is going to be judgining you worst than any judge can do is you.
Did you do what you intended to do? Did you get what you intended to get? Did the majority of people under your 'charge' did well?
So trust yourself. Trust your judgments. And always always always take that decision which is going to get your 'car with the MAJORITY of the people in it to destination. '
If everybody had the same intentions and purposes as you have then there will be no other products or services on the planet, there will be no games being played as only one team should win and be the best.
So don't play that game.
Play the game you decided you wanted to play and go for winning it:)
To your success and increased competance in your leadership.
