1 - Have a "Run-of-Show" plan

Have a clearly written out opening statement, a couple of talking points, and a solid call to action closing statement

2 - Smile

Smiling sounds simple, but it can be hard. Smile, smile, smile, and smile more. Studies show that a smile connects with people through the camera lens in powerful ways.

3 - Love the Camera

Talk to the camera in the first person, like it's your best friend, spouse, or client. The more you learn to be yourself on camera, the better your presentations will be.

4 - Grab your audience's attention

Attention spans are extremely short, so get to the point fast. Have a catchy opening to tease your topic or what your guest will speak about. Set the energy, and make it fun, exciting, and engaging within the first 30 - 60 seconds.

5 - Dress the part

Remember, you are the brand. It's not just what you say that matters. It's how you show up on camera. 70% of what people "hear" is non-verbal. So shine and communicate your brand message well.
