"What do you like about working at Wargaming?"

One of the most frequently asked questions I get from candidates:

I always try to answer this question the best I can while not taking 30 minutes, but in all reality, I could probably write a book haha. So here is my view:

Gaming industry

??I am a gamer(grill). And while I don't play our games, it does not matter, because being exposed to a gaming environment on a daily basis at work is absolutely amazing and joyful, regardless of what games we all play.?

People

??At Wargaming, we have so many different nationalities, people with different backgrounds and experience, passionate gamers, and creative minds and I love working with all of them (yeah, we don't always agree on everything, but we have mutual goals, so we are always able to find common ground).

??Did you know that in our office in Prague, we have around 30 nationalities?

Culture

??Culture is created by people and people here are epic. I have as much freedom as I need while as much support as I ask for. There is a healthy balance between having rules and working in chaos (well sometimes I find myself in the middle of chaos, but nothing we can't figure out) with room for feedback and growth.?

Learning

??So many different ways to learn. I love working with different teams and learning about what they do, how they do it etc... (especially because I love gaming, so working with people who are behind their creation is MINDBLOWING and exciting). We also have internal learning platforms, and external opportunities, not even mention the valuable on-the-job learning, and there are almost no limits to what I want to learn, so whatever I am interested in, I can learn more about here!

Opportunities

??I love learning new things, creating and trying new things, improving things while being a recruiter, and finding the best talents for our company. Here I can do it all! Not only that I work on cool roles within our company across all disciplines and levels of seniority, but I also participate in events! This year, I got a chance to go to Charles University, several external events that we organized, Game Job Fair, and Develop Brighton (yeah, my 1st ever business trip to the UK!). I can also work on internal projects and help improve/set up our processes while working on multiple different projects.

??Nothing is perfect, anywhere, but I don't need it to be. This is JUST RIGHT FOR ME.??
