WHAT do you learn in my throw-in online course?

In July 2018 Jürgen Klopp called me on the phone, and asked me for help to improve Liverpool FC′s biggest weakness: their throw-ins. Jürgen told me that they had struggled to keep possession of the ball, but couldn′t figure out how to solve their problems with the throw-ins.

After an emotional visit to Liverpool′s training ground Melwood I signed a contract with the club. I was a part of Liverpool FC for 5 seasons, and was part of 7 titles - including the Champions League and Premier League titles.

The season before I came to Liverpool FC then were only number 18 in the Premier League on throw-ins under pressure - with a possession of 45,4%.

In my first season in the club we improved our throw-in possession from 45,4% to 68,4%, and went from 18th to 1st on throw-ins in the Premier League. We were also number 2 in Europe. Just after one of my other teams FC Midtjylland.

My job in Liverpool FC was my international breakthrough as a throw-in coach. All in all I′ve been a part of 15 titles in international football, and coached clubs like Dortmund, Ajax, Flamengo, Philadelphia Union, Kawasaki Frontale and the English national team.

Now I′ve taking my +20 years experience as a throw-in coach, and put it into an online course called "Gronnemark′s Throw-in Mastery".

It′s a self-paced course for youth-, amateur- and professional coaches. There are 33 videos - all in all 6 hours and 45 minutes of drills and coaching around throw-ins. You also get a certificate after the completion of the course.

In the course you learn about my "Long, Fast and Clever Throw-in Philosophy", and it′s build in 3 steps: Basic drills, small sided games, and tactical drills.

The intensity of the drills is going from low to high, so you can use them for warmup, smaller games, and big pitch exercises.
