What Do You Get When You Combine Good Ideas, Balanced Behavior, Positive Thinking and Bold Action?

What Do You Get When You Combine Good Ideas, Balanced Behavior, Positive Thinking and Bold Action?

I am often asked, "What is a zentrepreneur?" My answer is simple. It is someone who is passionate about making positive change in the world. It is what we get when we take a risk and do something good - for the planet, for the economy, for the health and well-being of one another. It is the human expression of spiritual innovation and fearlessness.

All we have to do is learn to get out of our own way.

And clear the way for others.

So here are nine questions every zentrepreneur asks, contemplates and uses to move forward. Try these questions on yourself and see how you do.

  1. What if...? What do you imagine is possible? What do you really want?

2. Why...? What are the compelling reasons for doing it?

3. Why not...? What are the forces against you? What barriers must you overcome?

4. Who...? Who can help you?

5. How...? What is your game plan? What steps do you need to take to make this dream a reality?

6. When...? What is your timeline? What are your milestones?

7. Yeah, but...! What excuses, paradigms and limiting beliefs must you overcome?

8. So What...! Why is this a big deal? Does it really matter? How will you learn from it and move on?

9. Now what...? How will you handle life's uncertainties? Are you prepared to make adjustments?

Each of these questions and the many questions they spawn are key to unleashing the contemplative mind and cultivating more creativity and balance in the decision-making process. Use these questions and others to "awaken" the spirit in your team, clarify and align on your mission and make a positive difference in the world. Indeed, this is what being "inspired" is really all about.
