What do you care deeply about?

This is my leap out of the comfort zone of sharing articles to publishing original content, inspired by a great connection I made recently here on LinkedIn.

Before March 2020, my business life consisted of driving in my car and meeting business owners in person. “Shelter in place” halted that strategy in its tracks, requiring me to rethink my process and create a new way to be open for business.

I signed up for every online master class about re-inventing your business in a crisis, and decided to learn LinkedIn. Maybe you noticed, as I started being intentional about seeking out and building connections with like-minded and intelligent professionals who were willing to engage, so I could increase industry knowledge to add more value. 

But who could have predicted that the backdrop of a global pandemic would morph into political unrest and a revolution for racial justice?

All of a sudden, there were so many stimulating engagements with real, amazing people with all kinds of perspectives in real-time. Always exciting to see who added what to the discussion. And usually without the haters, trolls, and drama of other platforms.

So now I’m stepping out and planting my flag(s), and sending an open invitation to engage in civil discourse about….  

THIS. Equal economic opportunity for ALL as a way to create and promote social justice for every community in America, but especially for: commercial drivers and the trucking industry, women, and black and marginalized peoples.
