A lot of people don’t understand why they had trouble selling their home.
There isn’t a one size fits all answer to this question. There are a lot of factors that go into it.
Most times people are quick to jump to price and we do often find that this can be a reason.
Remember, price reflects what buyers are willing to pay for your home.
The buyers set the price.
Not the sellers.
Not the agents.
The market sets it for them.
As agents, we can tell you what the majority of buyers are willing to pay based on data.
Sellers are quick to jump to the conclusion that the agent that they are working with is undervaluing their home. Agents are just telling you what they suggest the value is based on the market numbers.
Price always comes into play.
Price comes into play with the sale of any type of product or service.
It’s always a factor in any type of sale.
There are also a lot of smaller factors that can affect a sale.
Your agent should be able to sit down and tell you what factors are affecting the sale of your home. They should be getting feedback from other agents.
There isn’t a single answer, but if your agent does some digging they should be able to tell you why your home isn't selling and what can be done to fix that.
