Highs and Lows.
Lows and Highs.
These two are no strangers to anyone on this planet.
But not every person knows how to navigate through them.
And unfortunately, I am one of them.
You see, last year was completely different for me.
This year, however, is not even close to how last year was - and that's okay.
Nothing is meant to be the same anyways in the course of life.
→ From the beginning of this year, I stopped using LI as much, I stopped connecting and conversing with people and taking on projects.
→ It was not as intentional as it sounds. I couldn't bring myself to engage in everything like I previously used to.
?? But I would like to point out that it does not mean that I wasn't occupied with other things.
?? During the first six months of this year, I put in my efforts to do well in my course - made countless assignments, attended sessions and lectures, furthered my knowledge and gave my exams.
Managing all of this wasn't easy.
One should never beat themselves up about being behind others or about not doing as much as others. ?
We don't know what's going on in other people's lives - but we do know what's going on in ours.
And that's where the magic happens.
→ Learning to differentiate between healthy self-criticism and harmful self-criticism is extremely important for us to remain sane.
→ If you continue to feel negative about every little thing that you're doing in your life then it is only going to take you further down.
Instead,
?? But don't just dismiss your efforts.
?? Continue to learn and grow.
?? And always remember - everyone's journey is different.
As for me, I have managed to put all these things in my head and I'm trying to make conscious efforts to make the next half of the year work for me. ????

1 年Great article. I feel the same, to be honest. It is ok to distance yourself from things you love. It doesn't mean you love them less.
