“Can-doers are those drivers who are so valuable. They need to also take care of their stress levels and be able to control the work load.”
Despite the overwhelming feeling of wanting to just give up, it’s actually the most important time not to. Which is why, to reflect on my experiences and moments of misery around deadlines and overwhelming challenges, I wrote something for you. Not really a silver bullet, but you have to start somewhere.
Picture in your mind the ultimate result. The phrase 'to see the word through rose-tinted glasses' means to see things in an overly optimistic, often unrealistic way, but dreams never come true, unless you make them real.
Celebrate your victories, no matter how small they seem. Take a personal day. Surprise yourself with a gift. Treat yourself with self-care. Text bomb your group message. Walk in the sunshine. Eat the delicious food.
Find support from others. It takes some work, but cultivating a circle of truly supportive friendships can make a huge difference in how you handle stress and life. The more people you have in your life, the more likely you are to have truly supportive relationships.
Remember why you started and how much you really wanted it. Write your own story. Putting it on paper helps you remember and gives perspective. Back in 1997 in IT support with windows 3.11, great times. Back in 2007 in Product R&D for GPON and FTTx products. Back in 2017 as a teamleader for barcode scanning solutions, and Tester for and Insurtech startup. I loved it, and would not give away a single day.

Look into the reason why you want to give up. The feelings of wanting to quit can be overwhelming. The generalized feeling isn’t clear; look at the reasons why you want to quit. A single decision can always change your life, and you should do it for the right reasons.
Make a plan and have a backup. When things don't go to plan, another good mindset is to think that everything happens for a reason. This kind of attitude helps to cope with the unexpected and trust that you will get through it. Be gentle on yourself, pick yourself up and find the blessings that come with your new situation.
Be grateful for the good things while struggling. It's easy to feel grateful when life is good. But when disaster strikes, gratitude is worth the effort.
Have motivational reminders everywhere.?Never give up on something you really want. It’s difficult to wait but more difficult to regret. Growth is often uncomfortable, but it is necessary. Start today, repeat tomorrow. It is an emotional journey to create anything great.
Embrace the zero talent principle. Keep learning. Be curious. Help others. Learn from your mistakes. Have a positive attitude. Speak up with your ideas, concerns and questions. Share what you know. Play to win rather than not to lose. Work hard, get stuff done.
