What To Do When You Experience Seasons Of Rejection

Hello Dear Believer,

Thank you for subscribing to the Believers Business Class newsletter.

............

Everyone goes through one form of rejection or the other. However, in your walk with Christ, there will be seasons in your life, most times extended, when you will have to pay the required price of isolation or rejection.

It is a normal provision in life's journey with God, as a believer. If you have not come to terms with it, then there is a challenge and you'll miss God.

Most times, it occurs when there is a reset in your environment and relationship that's taking place.

Other times, God chooses to shield you from certain things that could knock you off his path for your life.

Don't try to run away from it or wish it ends quickly. It might end, but you will miss the hand of God or the lessons required to walk in influence and dominion in the next season of your life.

Go to God and find out the purpose of the season of rejection. Ask that his will for the season be made manifest in your life. That there will be no waste.

Scripture References: Matthew 26:39, James 1:2-4, John 6:12-13

2. Ask the Lord for wisdom to help you navigate this season.

Scripture References: James 1:5, 1 Corinthians 10:13

3. Don't let joy slip away from you. The devil's main aim is to take away your focus and make it seem like it is a personal issue, just to kill your joy.

Scripture References: James 1:2-4, Proverbs 17:22, Isaiah 12:3

4. Keep your gaze on the word of God.

To maintain your joy, you have to guard your heart, focus and rejoice in God's word and promises to you.

Scripture References: Psalm 119:162, Joshua 1:8, 2 Corinthians 3:18

5. Walk in love, Help others.

There is a tendency for you to feel resentment towards those who rejected you or even become selfish by thinking of your situation and yourself alone.

During this period, make out time to pray for others. Also go out of your way to make others feel comfortable by meeting some of their basic needs with your time, connection and/or financial resources.

Don't even plan to revenge or draw out a plan on how to make them regret their actions towards you, because that will delay your transition.

It is hard most times, but you must make sure you don't bear any grudge.

6. Pray.

Prayer will help you draw strength from the Lord and also keep you aligned with the will, protocols and activities of Heaven.

Scripture References: 1 Thessalonians 5:17&18, Luke 18:1

7. Get a team of like-minded people. Don't navigate this season alone.

There will be people whom God will send into your life to comfort and console you. They'll be few. Embrace their presence, be a blessing to them and also, tap from their grace. Scripture References: Acts 4:23, Acts 2:1-4

8. There is power in praise and worship. You will offer up this sacrifice daily.

It is called a sacrifice because of your willingness in the midst of your pain to come to the altar of God to extol his name and thank him.

The Bible admonishes us to offer a sacrifice of praise in Hebrews 13.

9. Most of all, watch in the Spirit so you don't miss when the season of your glory will show.

Scripture References: 1 Chronicles 12:32, Luke 12:54-56

I pray that the wisdom of God will guide you whenever you navigate difficult seasons in the name of Jesus. Amen!

Thank you for your time.
