Support for Canadians Experiencing Loss??
?Losing a loved one is one of the hardest experiences in life. During such a challenging time, it can be overwhelming to figure out what needs to be done. We created the What to do when someone dies Hub to provide support and guidance to Canadians navigating their way through loss.??
What it is?
The Hub brings together information from provincial, territorial and federal governments to help Canadians know what to do when someone dies. It is a collection of online resources to help survivors through each step of the process.?
?Who it is for?
The Hub is for all Canadians. It is a place where families, caregivers, friends, legal or administrative representatives, estate trustees and executors can access the information they need about their responsibilities and available resources in the event of a death.?
?How it works?
Users can access specific information to find answers to their questions, or they can choose to use the interactive questionnaire by answering a few simple questions about their situation. They will then receive information about relevant documents, essential steps and available services, benefits and programs tailored to their circumstances.?
?How it can help?
The What to do when someone dies Hub supports Canadians by making it easier for survivors to find the information and resources they need. There can be many tasks to manage when someone dies, making an already difficult time more confusing. We’ve gathered all the necessary steps into one online location to help simplify the process.?
