When the markets are good... And there’s plenty of demand for your service... ??
Or a service like yours... ??
You can do well just by existing... ??
Opportunities fall from the sky and you make placements almost without trying... ??
Selling Recruitment in markets where there's lots of demand for recruitment is easy! ??
You don’t even need to “sell”, prospects just buy... ??
You don’t need to win new business, the clients you already have give you enough roles... ??
But when the market contracts... ??
Demand for “recruitment” slows... ??
And to win in a contracting market you need to approach things differently... ??
Clients will still buy, and you can still win business... ??
But they don’t “buy” recruitment... They buy the “outcome” of Recruitment... ??
In the same way, no one buys a gym membership, they buy the outcome of a gym membership... ??
This requires a distinct shift in the way you talk about what you do... ??
Recruitment = I’ll fill your vacancy
People don’t want their vacancies filled... They want the OUTCOME of having their vacancy filled... ??
They want the impact that the candidate will make on their organization... ??
This is the main reason Recruitment/Search Business Owners struggle to win the business they want... ??
Most Recruiters are living a life absent of these things ????
Some recruiters are so scared of losing business, they treat potential clients better than they do their spouses or kids... ??
They're missing school plays, milestones, and quality time with family on a regular basis because of "work"... ??
You set up your business for your family, but at the same time, you're never putting them first... ??
But as soon as a prospect shows the slightest bit of interest, you drop everything for them! ?
And the worst part is... ??
Half the time, the prospects never actually turn into a paying client... ??
