WHAT TO DO FOR A WEEKEND IN BOSTON
Ever since moving to Massachusetts, I’ve been fascinated with?Boston. It’s one of the most?intimate, coziest, beautiful and historic cities?I’ve been to and it never disappoints when visiting for a weekend. Boston is home to delicious food (clam chowder anyone), open spaces and greenery, first-class museums and welcoming locals. As one of the most historic cities in the United States, it attracts people from all over the country and the world to get a taste of this iconic place.?
Unlike other larger cities,?Boston is an awesome place to visit?if you’re looking to do a weekend trip,?as you can cover a lot at once. The city is very easy to navigate because everything is so close together. With great public transportation such as the Subway system or using Uber it makes everything easier. I always love coming here on the weekends because there’s so much to do and I learn something new about the city every time I visit. I never feel overwhelmed or like the city is too busy either, unless there’s a large sporting event or something.
Between the?historic buildings, walking tours,?food-scene,?Boston sports,?shopping,?waterfront activities?and?ambiance, you’ll have an amazing time. The city has a strong sports culture, as you probably already know, so the energy is high and the accents are strong. Some of the popular things to do include visiting? The Freedom Trail, Boston Public Garden, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, Quincy Market, The Museum of Science, The Museum of Fine Arts, The New England Aquarium, Bunker Hill, The Skywalk Observatory, The Charles River and The Boston Public Library.??
Below you’ll find unique and authentic things I suggest doing by location in the city.
