What do we do and how do we do it?

Community solar is relatively a new product in the solar space. Essentially, it gives renters, homeowners and businesses that have meters the ability to help promote the development of renewable energy while receiving credits to their electric bill. This is a guaranteed savings too!

Who can participate all depends on the states that have passed legislation that allows for programs like ours to even exist. So far New York, New Jersey, Minnesota, Illinois, Maine, Oregon, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maryland have all joined in the fight for clean energy and achieving their own clean energy goals.

Contrary to traditional solar which there is a taking over ownership or leasing which costs money to "invest" in clean energy. The community solar program we offer grants you a credit on your bill. So there is no loan, no long term contracts, no solar on the property. There is a local solar farm and by subscribing you get to receive a credit on your bill. You may opt to do this for up to 20 years if you'd like. Or you can opt out without any cancellation fees.

Signing up is easy. You first check your zip code to see if we have a solar farm nearby. Go here to check that out. https://www.commonenergy.us/TEAM/JWERNER

You save and you do your part in clean energy. Not a bad day
