What do people report as their #1 greatest fear? Apparently it’s not death...

It’s public speaking. But it doesn’t have to be... Here are 7 cheat codes

?? Record Yourself Speaking: Just like how top athletes study their game footage, record yourself speaking to identify areas for improvement. Pay attention to your eye contact, hand gestures, speaking pace, and filler words.

?? Master the Art of Silence: A well-timed pause can be incredibly powerful. Pause after making a strong point, count to 5 in your head, and allow your audience time to absorb the information.

?? Eye Contact: Make meaningful eye contact with specific individuals in your audience. Deliver a point while looking at one person, then transition your gaze to the next.

?? Ditch the Script: Instead of sounding robotic, jot down key points. Your talk should flow like a story, not a rehearsed monologue.

Structure Your Conversation Like a Story: Start with a normal baseline, introduce a big change or conflict, and then discuss the adjustment or learning (the new normal).

?? Spice it Up with Humor: A well-placed joke can turn awkward moments into applause breaks. Don't take yourself too seriously!

??? Talk to People: Practice your charm by striking up conversations with people through out your day to day. Baristas, doormen, gym buddies...

If you found this useful, repost it so your network can up their public speaking game too!
