What do these customers all have in common?

What does a research-based biopharmaceutical company, a telecommunications company who help their customers reduce risk in the banking industry, a software company that helps customers helping customers in the supply chain, a company helping re-imagine energy for our people and our planet, an award-winning law firm who provide services to executives, the UK’s biggest public services department to around 20 million customers and a leader in environmental waste solutions all have in common?
I remember a few years back hearing the story from Fred Luddy (Our Co-Founder & Chairman), about his first customer engagement as a young developer to fix a problem for a lady called Phyllis, a data entry clerk. The part of the story that continues to shape how I show up as a leader for me was neither Phylis’s problem nor the technical solution or her eventual appreciation in solving the challenge. It was the story of leadership and humility in acknowledging the mistake in thinking that you know more than the person facing the challenge to get work done. In that spirit, I am so thankful to our customers that create opportunities for our teams to listen, learn, and understand. These customers continue to show the value they and their teams have obtained from addressing their business, operational, and service challenges through their own voices. Let's celebrate these people.
