Welcome to FAQ-Friday! Nice to have you back! ??
As promised, today we're talking about the different colors of conveyor belts and round belts. You may have already noticed that our products are available in many different colors.
What do the different colors of conveyor belts and round belts actually mean?
In the vast majority of cases, the color of a belt indicates its Shore hardness. This color coding makes it easier to correctly identify a replacement belt at first glance and prevents confusion.
Belts used in the food industry are an exception. Here, the color blue has largely prevailed, as it does not occur in natural foods and therefore forms a good contrast to the transported goods. This facilitates automated monitoring of production and increases food safety, as contaminants and foreign bodies are detected immediately.?
In very rare cases, the color is also adapted for purely visual reasons, such as for sports equipment. In addition to functionality, design also plays an important role here.
Now have a nice weekend, we'll see you again soon! By the way, next week we'll be talking about a certain dimension that keeps cropping up in the technical data of belts. Stay tuned! ??
