What is the difference between PCB and PCBA?
People working in this industry, you know the difference. But when we call them in Chinese, PCBA is generally called "电路板(Dian Lu Ban), the same as PCB in Chinese. What is the difference? Let us discuss this further.
The left side is PCB, and the right side is PCBA.
PCB refers to the Printed Circuit Board. With technological advancements, printed circuit board manufacturing has become precise and complex.
PCBA stands for PCB + Assembly.
A board without assembled electronic components is a PCB. A board with already-built electronic components is PCBA--an assembled circuit board.
Assembly of Electronic components onto a PCB to create a PCBA. The method for PCBA assembly is SMT (Surface Mount Technology). In this process, solder paste is printed onto the PCB. Place Electronic components onto the PCB and solder through reflow soldering. The solder paste helps attach and weld the pieces onto the PCB.
Some electronic components are through-hole or DIP (Dual In-line Package). These components are then soldered onto the PCB using wave soldering.
PCB is an essential element in creating the final product. We will put components such as resistors, capacitors, inductors, connectors, etc, onto the PCB board, and then you will see the final finished board as PCBA.
Whether it's PCB or PCBA, all products made in our factory undergo rigorous testing to ensure that customers receive high-quality products. We know this is essential for long-term business success and a principle we adhere to in this industry.
As a team, we are proactive, constantly improving our skills and working to stand out in understanding and serving our customers better.
