What is the difference between good and bad stress?

Stress is natural and can come and go for short periods of time, but is all stress bad? There is a form of good stress, known as eustress, this can be an exciting form of stress and usually lasts for a short period of time. Some examples of eustress are riding a roller coaster or trying something new for the first time.
On the other hand, bad stress, also known as distress can be harmful to your mental health if it lasts a prolonged period. Some examples of bad stress can include financial burdens, workforce burnout, and even major life changes. When stress feels overwhelming and uncontrollable it can affect the quality of your life. Remember you are not alone.
