Hello! Everyone,

Good day! Glad to share with you the difference between FTA and CAS, these two is very well known in our DVB industry.

1.From the word

FTA= Free to Air

Whether the TV program is charged/free depends on the policy of the operator or local government.

CA(Conditional Access)CAS(Conditional Access System)

2.Use Range

FTA is used in Europe widely, but there are some countries still use CAS system.

3.How to get it?

As to FTA, Basically, most of DVB has this function,

However, as to CAS, must get support from Operator + CA company + production plant. And they are independent.
