What did I really do today?

Ever find yourself in this situation?????If you find yourself in this don’t worry you are not alone.I read this from the book called “Make Time by Jake Knapp amd John Zeratsky” and thought it wouldn’t hurt if I share key lessons I grasped from this book.The solution to this was in simple steps:

??Everyday choose a Highlight of the day

This should be something that you will be proud of at the end of day and consider the urgency,satisfaction and joy.This should be contributed towards the Big Picture.

??Be on Laser mode

Avoid distraction to make time for your highlight.You can find between 60 to 90 minutes everyday where you will purely focus on your day highlight and forget the other things.

??Energize

Find activities or things that will keep you going and give you energy to focus on our daily highlights.

??Reflect

After doing all the 3 things above set aside time to reflect on whether you chose your highlight,made time for it and feel free to drop anything that did’t work until you feel satisfied.

And don’t punish yourself incase you didn’t do it.It's okay you can do it better next day as the goal is to be BETTER and CONSISTENT
