What did Dinosaurs Really Sound Like?

DFAD's Dinosaurs World, Research and Ambience Library part 1

We live in a world that is rich with the sounds of nature and human activity. But what did the prehistoric world sound like? DFAD Research Lab proudly presents the first in the world most accurate Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods audio depiction in 3D/Ambisonics/Binaural stereo.

DFAD invites dinosaur enthusiasts to immerse themselves in ambiences from different periods, between 230 and 65 million years ago, that have never been heard before. Our library recreates the world of, now extinct, dangerous and peaceful lifeforms, with a wide spectrum of moaning dinos, hissing reptiles, buzzing giant insects, and a generous range of coniferous trees, ferns gusting and rattling in the winds.

We invite curious and imaginative audiophiles to join us on this Paleo-Acoustic journey and are excited to receive all feedback about the experience.

If you want to help the research, with distribution, placements, licensing deals, invest or contribute to the project in any other way, please feel free to reach out [email protected]

Birds and reptiles are among the closest living relatives to the creatures that roamed the world during the Jurassic era. I believe listening to the songs of our birds today still gives us a direct window to that prehistoric time and place. https://youtu.be/r_9uMRLYWvU
