What determines success?

Success, as we all know, is a very subjective term. It is crucial for us to reflect on what success means to us. People are all so very different, however with those differences we share one thing, that we are all human, and the human brain can do amazing things. Every day I wake up, and there is always a new idea nurtured and new inventions implemented, it is because of the limitless expanse of the human mind. People have succeeded in creating from our boundless imagination, and that is the measure we should strive for.

When I was younger, I had always known where I was going to go or what I was going to do with my life. My parents moved from a different country and a different environment to participate in the American Dream. An ideal that represents hope, it is the belief that any American can have any opportunities that are available to them. I grew up in an environment where the dreamer mentality heavily influenced my parents. My parents had wanted me to be the best and be as successful as possible, so I would not "grow up facing the same harsh conditions they did," and that vision forged me into whom I am today. Today, I want to be a lawyer, and then transition to politics, but that is not the measure of success for me. I want to change the world and positively change minds. Success for me is to be in a position to help as many people as possible.

So, you know a little bit about me and my background, I challenge you, the readers to forge your path. Become the person you see yourself being in the future. We already know how much our minds can process, so don't ever doubt yourself, as we will always find a way to do the impossible. Find your measure of success and embody it.
