Demantoid is a kind of garnet, which is a silicate mineral. The English name Demantoid. Demantoid is a high-end gem with its beautiful fire color and scarce output.


Viewed under a microscope, there are generally some asbestos fibers (horsetail-shaped) in the garnet. This is one of the signs to distinguish true and false demantoids. Demantoid has higher dispersion than diamond, so some people call it the most shining gem in the world.
