Genesis 11:4 Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.”

What defines you? Does a big home with the best cars define you? Is it a big bank account with a well diversified portfolio? Is it giving as much as you can to charities (as long as your name is out there for all to see)? Even as Christians, if we're honest, God is on the list of what defines us, but we don't always make Him first. If we don't seek our power and identity from God or at least things that are God blessed, we will always fall short. Seek your identity through God and have a blessed day!

This is a profound question to ponder. We know we need finances to survive, but how much do we excuse ourselves to believe we NEED? It's always a matter of the heart and the balance of common sense. However, there are many times GOD SENSE takes over and we are moved to do more. Seeking His wisdom everyday we study our bankbooks alongside His book we make sense of what we need to do with what we have.
