It's another edition of Customer Service & In-Between,where we talk any and everything, Customer Service and Inspiration.
Just like our friends are an integral part of our lives ,customers are also an integral part of our business.
Our friends are people we like being with and also people who need certain things from us and vice versa .
Our friends need our support, advice , encouragement, listening ear, respect,honesty etc and we need same from them.
Likewise, customers also need certain things from us when they come to our brand/business for inquiries ,purchases or complaints .?
For customers to remain with a business, trust them ,give referrals, be 'brand ambassadors' and increase sales through repeated patronage ,
The following customer needs must be given priority :
Availability
A business/brand must be available?to attend to customers.Let your customers know that when they need to reach you ,you are ALWAYS around the corner
Accessible Communication Channels and Support
How easy is it to reach you as a business/brand? Do you operate omni communication channels? Give your customers an array to choose from when they need to reach out to you(email, phone, text, in-person, social media, calls etc)
Quick Resolution Times
How quick as a?business do you resolve customer complaints? Do they need to hold on on the phone till they hear Christmas?jingles???? in August ? When you respond to customer issues swiftly, you build a level of confidence and trust towards your brand?
Empathy
When you ' walk a mile in your customers' shoes ',it shows you care and feel their pain,even when you can't solve their challenge at that precise moment, just showing you understand, scores you points.
Acknowledge customers.
Acknowledging your customers and personalizing your Customer Service,makes customers feel welcome and 'at home'.When you?acknowledge their presence, their complaints, call them by name,remember their birthdays, ask how their day was etc, they feel like part of the ' family'
Improved customer experience.
When you improve customer experience from what it was the last time , it makes customers say, ' I will be back'. When customers interact with your brand and are asked to take a CSAT (Customers Satisfaction) survey , what would your ranking be? When customers have a 'wow ' experience, which is not about the grandiose only, but about the little things every time;the smile,body language, tone, courtesy, ambiance,the extra mile etc.
When customers' needs are met and exceeded,it opens the door to a wide range of benefits like;
