In logistics, a cross belt sorter is type of conveyor-based sortation system. Basically, it consists of a chain of independently operated short conveyor belts mounted transversely along the main track.

The Cross Belt sorter offers the highest rate of the industry. It is easily adapted to courier companies’ hubs as well as distribution centers where the characteristics of products are very different according to the industry, such as: textile, footwear, airports, etc.
