What CRM Do You Use?
What CRM (Customer Relationship Manager) do you guys use? And do you use your CRM for cold calling and automation, and keeping your client relationships up to date?
There are lots of business owners and executives out there, and sales people even, that leave customer relationship development up to chance. If you're being honest with yourself, you're probably lacking in this regard.
You need a list of 100s, if not 1000s, of clients and potential clients that you can automatically contact, to add to your calling and face-to-face interactions, and you need notes on them.
This is key if you're looking to grow business, and is really the bare minimum when it comes to maintaining your business foundation.
If you're a small business on a budget, use gmail and download an app called Streak (check it out here: https://bit.ly/ZNetworks-Streak). You can store all the customer info and notes, plus send personal and bulk emails at any time of day that you want, and it includes read receipts.
Z Networks uses Zoho, and it's a lifesaver (they have both paid and free software). SalesForce is also the gorilla in the CRM arena, with very affordable solutions as well.
Knowing that CRMs are out there, and fully utilizing them are 2 different things though, so don't just shrug this off and say, "yeah yeah yeah, CRMs, got it." Be honest about really digging into how often you and your team are using these resources, and cross-reference whether you are happy with your client relationships and sales trajectory.
And, because the previously mentioned CRMs are web-based, you don't really have to worry about it not working on your computer (unless you use Internet Explorer probably, haha, ugh), and you can usually get access on your cell phone even too.
So, take this as a reminder to keep on top of your CRM.
