Before doing anything we “think†and we actually think about the consequences which would arise after the happening of any event, then we calculate the advantage and disadvantage.
We keep an account of the facts and the figures associated with them in order to make and pass a judgment. Critical thinking gives us the concrete reason to calculate what to think or what to believe in, and hence, in this way it provides us with independent thinking and problem solving skill.
Critical Thinking makes us able to:
- Understand the logical reason behind any idea.
- Find the difference between the logical and conceptual reasoning.
- Find the inconsistent errors in the ideas or reasoning.
- Resolve a problem in a systematic way.
- Determine the need and value of any idea.
- Find the consequences which will arise while the execution of an idea.
- Determine the belief and truth based on any reasoning.
- Make the problem solving skill excellent.
A critical thinker knows how to make use of any information, determining the consequences of an idea, its belief and facts associated with it. It also gives the critical thinker to analyze the bad reasoning and reasons behind being it bad or what can be done to turn a bad idea into a good one.
