What conditions must mold release of aluminum alloy casting reach?

Aluminum alloy die-casting, including aluminum, magnesium, zinc alloy series die-casting products, widely used in automotive, telecommunications, motorcycles, home appliances and other industries.

Aluminum alloy die-casting mold release must meet the following requirements:

1. Oil. As an effective material for metal-to-metal isolation, silicone oil is an ideal choice. This silicone oil must have high temperature resistance and does not affect the post-processing properties (such as the coating of aluminum products).

2. Water. Any solvent-based mold release is not suitable due to the high temperature of the mold. Water is used as a dispersion medium, and in a high temperature environment, water rapidly evaporates, and the mold release effective substance is uniformly distributed on the surface of the cavity. With uniform film formation, strong adhesion, high temperature erosion and good release properties as advantages.

3. Emulsion. Choose a suitable emulsifier to emulsify silicone oil to prevent carbonization at high temperatures. To keep the surface of the product and cavity clean.

4. There is no corrosion on castings and mold equipment. The casting product wheel gallery is clear, the surface is smooth and seamless, and does not affect the painting. Volatile matter is smoke-free, non-toxic, does not pollute the environment, and does not deplete the health of the operator.
