What if Companies Managed People as Carefully as They Manage Money?

As we start a new financial year and reset the goals for our businesses and our teams, I thought the attached Harvard Business Review article is worthy of a read.

In our never ending quest for greater financial success, it is often easily forgotten the bottom line benefits that can be gained by a concerted focus on our people, for many of us the greatest input cost to our businesses.

I think this article captures this very succinctly.

I have highlighted what I see are some key messages.
