What is Clipping Path and Image masking and its differences?

Clipping Path and Image masking is quite similar but clipping path is used on the hard edges like body parts and other solid items like shoes, bags, tables, chairs and many more which are clipped and then the background is either removed to an transparent background or to a new background.

Where image masking is done for the only on the fine lines like the hair and furs. This smooths the objects and other particles where the lines are very fine and needs to be soften. But clipping path hardens the object and makes it look rough and if you use the clipping path on the hair then it will be hard to smooth the lines and the hair will look odd.

Make the right choice while you are using the image masking and clipping path both will remove the background but in different ways. And always make sure the image is enhanced properly.
