What Change Management is - NOT!

There are many definitions what change management is about and books on what a change manager must do - but i didn`t found much on "what change management is not". So here are my all time highs:
Change management is not... :
- ... the place or phase to put your lack of content and leadership - "we don`t really know the direction or why, but that is what Change and Com is for..."
- ... where you can delegate the transformation to - "let them do change stuff while we carry on with the daily important work"
- ... another word for "event manager" - an event just for the event itself will change nothing even if you call it new fancy words
- ... a workstream you check on like a project manager would - your change managers are there to ask YOU tough "in-between" questions and mirror back things of the organization
- What are your thoughts what change management is and is not? Please comment...

5 年True words. Change Management is the blue print and written strategy to run change leadership. If you want an organisation to change, change yourself first and make sure others can see you. Leading by example works since ages.
