What is The Centre of Our Meditation???

Hare Krishna!!

We all have a topic of meditation on which our mind meditate upon. What we meditate upon is: "When will I gain profit??, How to gain fame??, What about my job?? and so and so."

Sometimes, we achieve and sometimes there is repentation as the outcome. Not always we achieve what we desire.

Let's have a talk on this topic and dive altogether in the divine pool of Vedic knowledge....

In BG(16.13-15), The Supreme Personality of Godhead Krishna says, "The demoniac person thinks: “So much wealth do I have today, and I will gain more according to my schemes. So much is mine now, and it will increase in the future, more and more. He is my enemy, and I have killed him, and my other enemies will also be killed. I am the lord of everything. I am the enjoyer. I am perfect, powerful and happy. I am the richest man, surrounded by aristocratic relatives. There is none so powerful and happy as I am. I shall perform sacrifices, I shall give some charity, and thus I shall rejoice.” In this way, such persons are deluded by ignorance."

Some people, puffed out of ignorance, meditate as such. This is termed as the meditation for getting further bondage.

But, what is the real goal of meditation??

Meditation is for getting liberation from tightened shackles of nature. Now, we can investigate: which meditation is the best out of best??? The Supreme Lord says, "Of sacrifices I am the chanting of the holy names i.e. japa." (yaj?ānā? japa-yaj?o ’smi: BG 10.25)

How this meditation will announce good results???

Let us discuss what the result will be!!

First gift: Gift of knowledge when heart get cleanse. Second gift: blazing fire of material existence extinguishes. Others are: auspicious life, nectar of transcendental bliss and many more. We should chant the glorious and auspicious names of The Supreme Lord.

In Srimad Bhagavatam, it is stated that this material creation starts with the creation of ether, then sky, fire, water and land. In ether, there flows the vibration of material sound. The Bondage!!

To get out of these clutches, we should take support of the divine and transcendental sound.

One never get bored by continuously chanting the holy names. Instead, he relish divine fruits of transcendental pleasure. But, if we chant any material name, likeas "Mr. Richard, Mr. Richard..." we will get bored. No one will get mellows.

Other is: one get connected to The Supreme Lord, even from the distant. No difference in Lord and His names!! Meaning: there are auspicious results, for sure, we will get by chanting Hare Krishna Mahamantra!!

Now, here is a question: Are you interested in getting dialled to The Supreme Lord??? Why not!!

Let us all celebrate this World Meditation Day by chanting Hare Krishna Mahamantra!! Let us altogether relish the divine mellows of chanting the most glorious names of The Supreme Lord.
