Our post-lockdown world is very different from how it was even just six months ago. Your customer's needs have changed, and they are cautious about spending money.
So, what can you do differently to persuade them to buy?
Here are a couple of suggestions:
1. Offer greater value
If the customer perceives higher value, then they'll be less resistant to the cost and the enticement of a competing supplier.
What can you package to make your product or service seem more attractive and better value for money? What extra thing can you add that doesn't cost you much but is valuable to the customer?
2. Reduce the risk
When consumers and businesses have less money to spend, purchasing decisions will take longer and require more consideration.
How can you convince your customers to buy when they're feeling anxious about spending money? What guarantees, such as a money-back guarantee or no-quibble refund, can you offer to reduce the risk?
With several challenging months ahead of us, it's time to think differently.
